Privacy Policy
Let’s keep this simple: I value your privacy. I’m a real person, just like you, and I think it’s flat-out rude to sell or hand over your info to other people or companies — so I don’t. What follows is the official stuff I’m required to share with you, but know this: your trust means everything to me, and I’ll treat your information with care.
Your Consent to This Policy
By using this website, you're saying, “Yep, I’ve read this and I’m cool with it.” That includes how your data is collected, used, and protected — all outlined below.
What We Collect (and Why)
If you sign up for updates, comment on the blog, make a purchase, or just reach out to say hello, we may ask for your name, email address, or other contact info. That’s just so we can respond to you, deliver what you asked for, and keep in touch about things you’ve shown interest in.
By giving us that info, you’re giving us permission to use and store it — and we’ll do our best to keep it safe.
Where Your Info Goes (and Who Sees It)
Your information is stored through secure systems and only accessed by people who need it to manage communications — like sending emails or supporting your account.
Sometimes we may ask for additional details (like your age or gender) to help personalize your experience. You never have to share, but certain features might not work without it.
We Keep Things Confidential
We won’t share your personal information unless the law requires it, or we genuinely believe we need to do so in order to protect you, ourselves, or others. Your safety and trust come first.
Just a heads-up: if you post personal info in public areas like blogs or forums, others might see it — and we can’t control what happens with that information.
Passwords and Accounts
If you set up an account here, it’s up to you to keep your username and password private. Please don’t share it. If something weird happens or you suspect unauthorized use, let us know right away.
We’ll never share your password, and we’ll do our part to keep it safe. But if you hand it out or use an unreliable password, we can’t be responsible for what happens.
We also ask that you give us true and accurate info when creating an account. If you submit false details (like a made-up email address), we have the right to disable your access.
Unsubscribing
If our emails stop being helpful or you just need a break, you can unsubscribe anytime by clicking the link at the bottom of any message we send. If you run into any trouble, email tina@tinahice.com and we’ll take care of it.
Just know: unsubscribing from one list won’t always remove you from all communications, so feel free to let us know if you want to be fully opted out.
No Spam Zone
We hate spam just as much as you do. That’s why we follow all the rules under the CAN-SPAM Act and only send emails to people who’ve opted in. We never send misleading content, and we never sell, rent, or share your email address.
About Children’s Privacy
This website and everything offered here is for individuals age 13 and up. We don’t knowingly collect info from anyone under 13. If you’re a parent or guardian and believe your child’s info may have been submitted, please contact us and we’ll take care of it.
Anonymous Info and “Traffic Data”
To keep this site running smoothly, we may collect non-personal data like your IP address — which helps us understand how visitors use the site, troubleshoot issues, and improve your experience. This info doesn’t identify you directly, and we don’t track you beyond our site.
We may also share generalized, anonymous traffic data with partners for marketing purposes. Again, nothing personally identifiable.
How We Use Cookies
Like most websites, we use cookies — small data files stored in your browser — to see which parts of the site are working well and which might need some love. These cookies don’t collect personal info, and you can turn them off in your browser if you’d prefer. Just know that some site features might not work quite right without them.
Third-party tools we use (like videos, forms, or ads) may use their own cookies. We don’t have access to those cookies or control over how they work.
Third-Party Links
Sometimes we link to other sites or share products and services we think you’ll love. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which means we aren’t responsible for how they collect or use your info. We always do our best to recommend trusted sources, and we welcome your feedback if something seems off.
If Things Ever Change
In the rare case we sell, transfer, or merge with another company, your information may be included in that process. However, anyone we partner with must continue to honor this Privacy Policy — or get your okay before making any changes.
Updates and Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we’ll post the updates here and may notify you via email if you’ve opted in.
By continuing to use the site after a change is posted, you’re agreeing to the new terms.
